Sounds awesome!

What was the tourney format?  Any memorable games or scores?

Sounds awesome!

What was the tourney format?  Any memorable games or scores?

Started out with 16 players broken into 4 groups.  Those groups all played four player games on Time Machine and the top 2 from each group advanced.  The field was then cut in half again on Road Kings.  Then the final 4 played off on Taxi.  Some lucky guy from Cocoa won and took home the Trophy and RAW POWER Cup.    ;D

The tilt on Taxi was tight.  I think all of us in the finals tilted at least once.  I had a good laugh at Spencer and then proceeded to tilt on a really good ball and lost a TON of bonus!  Haha, it is all in fun though and made the finals a lot more exciting.

Congrats on the win!

Great job!

So, were the 4 groups of 4 randomly chosen?  Was the subsequent 8 player round also randomly grouped or were scores ranked and seeded?  As I am sure some people figured out, who is in the quad group can make a huge difference.

I know I get nitpicky with details and questions, but I like this stuff :)

Thanks for the format breakdown :)

I more or less knocked out the list for the tourney, it was random.

Congrats to John I, the LAST mofo to show up, barely making it into the last group!

I think I did a pretty good job of tweaking out the tourney games earlier in the day, tilts were TIGHT (I tilted 10 times and cussed myself out several times), rubbers and posts removed from the games where Kurt would let me, etc. We like to play quick tourneys at these POP events so we all have time to just hang out with each other.

Another point proven was to always have a Megatouch around for the WIMIN' to mess with!

Thanks again to Erin and Kurt for hosting, looking forward to June at Ed's place!
