If you ever miss having a yard, you can always come to my place and do some yard work.  I pay $15 and hour too.    ;)

Seriously though the place looks incredible.

Wow, just found this thread..... Huge congrats to you guys.  A well-deserved great-looking place! Can't wait to see it in person. That game room carpet is insane.  Love it!

Thanks!  It is coming along nicely...

Current progress is the upstairs, kitchen and stairway are all painted (except trim needs second coat everywhere), and have the led strip border built and caulked and ready for paint in the main gameroom, and then got only as far as the 2x2 up in the arcade room and will finish that border up tomorrow.   The kitchen is of course our catch-all bench area for the time being.

We should have the new power box wired in the gameroom this weekend, along with the electronic blacklight ballasts.   Look for some blacklit pictures soon!

Where is the broken down video game in the middle of the kitchen?

Where is the broken down video game in the middle of the kitchen?

Me: "You make fun of Quantum but you're going to miss a kitchen without him..."

Eve: "I know!  I think I actually will!"

Then we both laughed

And then there was blacklight...

Picture doesn't do it justice.  The colors really glow wonderfully!

Three 20 amp breakers to six new outlets were added today, so we have power for days...considering my guy noticed as he had all the sockets out of the wall that the main gameroom was actually on two 20 amp breakers all along!  Which was probably enough by itself, but might've been pushing it.    So basically I've now got way more than enough power and it'll never be a concern.   We also wired in outlets for the LED strips around the top border and connected them to the wall switches.  Lots of little tedious knockouts and things done today along with the blacklights.  It'll be finished very soon...

Can't thank you guys enough for your help yesterday!  NY Steve, John I and Dan Mole all helped get the gameroom a little closer to completion with some heavy lifting!  Thanks again guys!

Yeah it was a really fun day.  Got home in time to see a rocket launch from my front yard.  It is always cool when that happens when friends are over.  Glad Dan got to see it.

Jason, that is a great new home that you and Eve bought.  You did an amazing job with the game rooms.  You should have gone ahead and decorated the office the same way.   :)  I wish I was more helpful in the move as I felt like I was in the way more than anything.
