Thanks to Brian Styles and Tourney Results
« on: August 30, 2015, 09:51:41 PM »
Another awesome FLiPS event at Club 66.  Turned out to be a decent day despite the initial storm threat earlier this week.

Thanks Brian for hosting.

18 players in the Erika Spaghetti Remnant Storm Tracker Tourney (somebody have the official name we came up with?)

Format: Six  3-player teams (storms) competing on 3 different games. MM  JM  CFTBL

Each team started a 4 player game.  Normal play for players 1-3, player 4 was the wildcard player and could be played however the team chose.  Each team was allotted 15 minutes total play per game after which there was a storm advisory. (Game was terminated).

Combined 4-player score for a particular game was recorded and ranked against all other teams. 1 point for 1st place, 2 for 2nd etc.  Perfect score is 3. Repeat process until all teams have played all 3 games. Top 2 teams advance.

Qualifying results scores listed MM+JM+CFTBL = result

Chris
Dave
Brian D
2+1+1=4 points advance

Adam
Donny
Joel
1+3+5=9 points( adv on tie breaker)

Atticus
Carlos
Sebastian
3+2+4=9 points

Larry
Bob
Tatiana
4+6+2=12 points

Ed
Dawn
Fred
6+5+3=14 points

Dean
Denise
Dan
5+4+6=15 points

2 storms now break up and play solo.   Single game on random game CFTBL.  Top 2 from each storm advance.

Dave and Brian advance
Joel and Adam advance

Final results on JM

1st Adam M.
2nd Dave W.
3rd Joel C.
4th Brian D.

Super Grover Erika

Congrats to the winners, thanks to everyone who showed up at Club 66 to support FLiPS and thanks again to Brian Styles.

See everyone next time around.

Joel has a thing for third place lately.  Wish I could have made it!  Thanks for posting the results.
