Tourney Results FLiPS at Club 66
« on: March 13, 2016, 10:02:48 AM »
Another awesome FLiPS event at Club 66.  Big turnout.

Thanks to Brian Styles for hosting.

36 players in the Battle on the Behemoths-all 7 Superpin games made by B/W.

Format: 9  four-player teams competing on 7 different games. DM IJ JD POP RS STTNG TZ

Each team started a 4 player game.  Each team was allotted 12 minutes total play per game after which the game was terminated. Players could play however desired but each player had to play at least one ball.

Combined 4-player score for a particular game was recorded and ranked against all other teams. 10 points for 1st place, 8 for 2nd  6 for 3rd, then 5,4,3,2,1,0 points. Perfect score is 70. Repeat process until all teams have played all 7 games. Top 2 teams advance.

Unfortunately JD flaked out early so it was pulled leaving only 6 games to play. Perfect score now 60

Joel and Dan advance played on DM

Final results on DM

1st Atticus
2nd Jason
3rd Dan S
4th Joel

Nice surge by Jason on balls 4 and 5 and then a comeback by Atticus on ball 5. Interestingly enough if it were a 3 ball game, Atticus would have had a plunge away victory.

Super Grover: Madison.

Congrats to the winners, thanks to everyone who showed up at Club 66 to support FLiPS and thanks again to Brian Styles.

See everyone next time around.
