Made a Space Shuttle Video today *updated*
« on: April 17, 2012, 11:53:07 PM »
I got some good video and pictures at work the last two days and decided to make a video of Discovery leaving the Space Center for her new home in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.  It's kind of sad to see her go.  When the 747 carrier plane took off today it flew by my office, then flew down the coast of Brevard County and came back over us and did a circular flyby of the launch pad and the Space Center during which it came by for a third pass directly over the building I work in.

The featured people in the video are mostly people in my office (and me too).  The video is available in resolutions up to 1080p!

Crap.  Youtube didn't like the copyrighted music...  Will have to remix the video.

Who would have known that my evil little space shuttle video would have led to the bankruptcy of Pink Floyd and Elton John had it been allowed to air?

Something tells me THEY wouldn't care...but EMI and the RIAA do.

OK.  One more try.  It was the Pink Floyd that was banned.  The Elton John will have to do.

That's cool to see.  I have an 8x10 picture of Enterprise taking a ride on a 747 which I received in the 70's... nice to see a more close-up view.
